It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for… Voting for Dreamling.ca’s 1st MS Paint Design Challenge! (Ooer… “1st.” Does that mean they’ll be more? Maybe we’ll find out… next year.
).
Firstly, I will link you to all of the entries. Then, you will be able to vote. Just vote for your favourite. No more, no less, you aren’t looking for anything special, just the one that you like the most.
I’m just going to list them in the order that they were received.
First up, we have Sean‘s entry. It features a very lovely teal colour and takes advantage of the clip art available to use! Click here to view entry #1.
Next one came from the lovely Catherine . It is a very lovely design using a cute fairy! I love fairies. One of my middle names has something to do with fairies. Click here to view entry #2.
Then I received something from Chien. It’s a very dreamy design, which of course I love, and it features a very cute cartoon character! zAwww. Click here to view entry #3.
The next entry has a mythical feel to it. It was submitted by Lav, and is super cool looking! I really like the shooting stars! Click here to view entry #4.
Trisha sent along the next entry! This design features some lovely pixelling, coloured scrollbars (yes! yes! yes!) and music! So cute! Click here to view entry #5.
Lene‘s submission could easily be used on anyone’s site today! Using Paint she actually designed something… pleasant. Except for the iFrames of course! Click here to view entry #6.
The next design I received came from Ann, and it uses pastel rainbows which, duh, are amazing! Also, I really like that font, I have it on my computer as well.
Click here to view entry #7.
Diana was extremely stressed out about getting her design here on time. She also plans to actually use it on her own site!
Click here to view entry #8.
And, last but not least, we have Robmarie‘s submission, which features one of my favourite things: rainbows!
Click here to view entry #9.
As you can see, there is some pretty tough competition out there! Fantastic entries by all! But, of course, there can only be one winner!
On to the poll!
Get voting! Tell your friends! Remember, voting ends February 8th 2009.

Everything looks so lovely! I never would have designed something like that in Paint! Good luck to all contestants!
You know, I’m glad I didn’t participate, because I’d have shamed myself to no end. Lovely selection.
I am torn between a few selections but finally chose one, which shall remain a secret!
Wow, all the entries are fantastic! I couldn’t believe some of them were made in paint!
Wow. Some people really now how to work Paint.
Nice layouts, folks. I voted.
It just brings back so many memories of the ‘good old days’. Ahhh the cheese layouts I made using MSPaint. I remember using backgrounds I’d created by drawing random coloured circle shapes.
Voted. Wasn’t easy though.
@Vera: That’s exactly what I was thinking. This is was a tough one, but this person deserved it.
WOW. A lot of those were amazing! To be honest, I was particularly impressed with the ones that featured actual drawings made in Paint.
I was planning on doing this, but I didn’t get a chance to create anything submission worthy
Some of those were actually made in Paint? o.0 Wow!
I’m surprised at how good some of these turned out; voting was pretty difficult for me too.
I voted! Some awesome creations there, considering the paint! I love the idea
Was it you btw Aisling, who thought of the idea of creating a fansite purely of fan art creations?
Reply: Um. I’ve mentioned how it would be cool to see a fan site that didn’t use celebrity images, yes.
I voted! There’s 2 which I really like, took me some time to decide. Some of the entries really wow me. I didn’t knew such beautiful works can be created from paint.
Oh, wow, it’s pretty impressive what people came up with! Voting was hard. Back in the day when I designed sites in Paint (you’re not the only one!), they looked pretty bad. Not a complete and total eyesore, but still not very pretty.
Mine’s horrid compared to everyone’s haha.
I voted!
4th place…not bad. I’m still proud of myself.
