One of our assignments over Reading Week (FYI: Reading Week may be a break from school, but it’s NOT a break from the millions of projects that we have been assigned!) was to take a bunch of photos, since we study photography as part of our design class.
Today, a few classmates and friends and I went off to the Calgary Zoo to take photos. I took a bunch, and have uploaded my 38 favourites here on Dreamling.

The zoo was pretty much the same as always, except for the new Dinosaurs Alive exhibit, which has brought robot dinosaurs (AND WHAT COULD BE COOLER THAN ROBOTS OR DINOSAURS, BUT ROBOTS AND DINOSAURS!) to our already existing Prehistoric Park. They rawr (rather unimpressively) and move. I took some silly videos, including one of me dressed as a dino (which causes the other dino to not rawr, obviously because he recognizes me as a friend).
I was also stoked to get some dino merchandise including a little stuffed dino, a dino sippy cup and a dino sticker book! Yes, I am secretly 7 years old.
Oh my god, I saw robot dinosaurs at my local zoo like two years ago. They were not as cool as I expected

I wish my zoo had robot dinosaurs. All we have is animals! D: Now I gotta go to Calgary to see some robot dinosaurs. And I guess you, if I’m in the neighborhood.
