So, today is Pi Day for all of the geeks out there. I was kind of bummed because it’s Sunday, and I am still not feeling great and I had no pie. It took a few minutes for me to remember that I can make my own pie! Since it was brunch time, my mom suggested I make a quiche with the leftover broccoli from last Sunday’s mac and cheese. So… I did!

It was super good, and between myself and my 3 family members we finished off the whole thing. It takes a bit of time to make, but is definitely worth it (obviously I could have made the crust a bit nicer, but I was hungryyy).
Please try out my recipe, and tell me what you think!

Oh my goodness this is making me so hungry right now, I need to go downstairs and get some food.
We celebrated at school on Friday by eating pie in chemistry class.
Happy Pi Day!
Aww, now I want to have a pie for Pi Day!
That looks delicious. I love quiche. :9
haha, I’d heard of pi day but i’ve never known anyone to actually follow it! You and your mum sound innovative pie-wise though – i wouldn’t have thought of using left overs for pie filling ><
That quiche looks absolutely fantastic. Did you come up with that recipe on your own? I wish I knew how to turn my leftover ingredients into something that good. Nommy.
Happy Pi Day! I have never actually had quiche.
That looks amazing. Anything with cheese is good in my book. And it’s veggie friendly (you are my hero).
Happy Pi day! That quiche looks amazing! That reminds me – I haven’t had quiche since I left Canada.
Argh, this reminds me of all the great food I left behind. Quiche, timbits, shepherd’s pie, beaver tails…yumm!!
