One of the projects that have had me and some of my classmates in a tizzy over the last month has been an animation.
For our animation, we used an idea from a sketch that Kaman had done several years ago. We changed around some things, like the name of the main character, and made a fresh storyboard. Kaman drew the characters, and Heather helped her ink them and made the background. Tabbie and I helped out with bits of everything, and the audio, and Kaman put it all together in After Effects.
We must admit, we were a little inspired by Salad Fingers. And yes, the voice of Mary is me, albeit with the pitch of my voice boosted by one.
We all really would love to hear your comments about our project!! It’s been a long road, but I think it’s been worth it.
OOh creepy! I very much like the drawing of the dark house at the beginning. The child’s laughter is a nice touch too. Somewhat creepy but also not entirely.
And that’s your voice? I never would have guessed if you hadn’t said so.
I LOVE IT. It’s creeptastic. And the music is great too.
Ooh, I love this! Very creepy.
I liked the text (“Backwards” with the arrow made me smile), and the music was a nice touch too.
I want moar Mental Mary.
I agree with Vera the house at the start looks great.
Very nice. Creepy yet not creepy. Want more.
That was great! It was very ~professional; you guys did a fantastic job
This was really cool! I didn’t really know what it would look like after I heard your Mary recording, but this was way creepier than what I imagined. :P
You guys are good artists~
Love the illustration of the house. Great choice with the creepy music too!
