Well well, look who’s on summer vacation. Jealous? I think so.

If you follow me on Twitter, you probably are already well aware of how I kicked off my summer break from school. It’s safe to say, from hanging around my classmates, and the people in the other classes in my program, that we all pretty much range from moderately-geeky to full-out-geeky on the scale of geekiness. Quite a few of them are sort of stereotypical in their geek ways– they enjoy video games, and Star Trek, and… naming Greek gods while we’re at the bar. It can be strange, but they’re my friends, so what can I do?

You should know now that I am crazy about musical theatre. I honestly believe that film adaptations of Broadway musicals are mystical things sent from some sort of higher power. I’ve taken endless emotional beatings from my friends for being a huge fan of High School Musical, even though I am well outside of their targeted age demographic. I’ve been raised on musicals. My entire family is musical, except for me (well, I’m musical, but I wouldn’t consider myself to be talented, like my brother).
