Thanks for visiting Dreamling! I’ve tried to cram a lot of information into this page, that will hopefully answer any questions that you may have about my site.

How long have you had a website?
I started blogging when I was 11, in 1999. I started off on Expage, Geocities, Angelfire and Brinkster. In 2003 I was hosted by my friend, Kat, until 2006. At that time I switched to a Blogger account while I was away at Katimavik. When I returned, I became interested in having a site again, registered aisling-b.net, and here we are.

How long have you been blogging at Dreamling.ca?
After I got bored of aisling-b.net, I began brainstorming ideas for a new domain. Dreamling.ca was registered on October 9, 2008 and my blog and website were relaunched on October 18, 2008.

What does Dreamling mean?
Dreamling is simply a mash-up consisting of one of the meanings of my name and one of my nicknames. Aisling is Irish for “dream” and my school and online friends often call me Ling.

How often is Dreamling updated?
The blog section of the site is updated as often as I can think of something semi-interesting to write. Usually this is once or twice a week, although I have been known to be chatty at times. The rest of the content is a lot less dynamic, and is really only updated on a whim.

Has Dreamling been featured in any articles or galleries?

What are your plans for Dreamling in the future?
Well, we never know what the future may bring! I definitely hope to keep the site going at least until the end of my student life. Then… who knows? Nevertheless, I can’t see any other blogging endeavours of mine being anywhere as enriching as this one.
